altrock is gus young (aka oddioblender) of texas and chris m (aka sick to the back
teeth) of new york. by sending samples through the mail, the two prolific electronic
musicians have been able to create their diverse new album without ever meeting
in real life. the resulting work is a blend of electronica, industrial, and noise with
a little guitar and bass thrown in as well. their collaboration was sparked with the track, "Alt-Rock Is Dead," which appeared on the "xltronic vibes 10" online compilation.

altrock is currently wrapping up their second full-length album.
