planetarium records research facility is proud to present to you this compilation of original guitar music.

artists from all around the world were asked to create music using only the sounds of the guitar as a basis. resisting the urge to attempt lengthy unaccompanied solos, these artists have instead opted for a less traditional approach, often wrenching as many sounds as possible from the instrument. the results are as diverse as they are stunning.

we hope you enjoy this collection as much as we had fun making it.
